AUTO-MAS Cloud Service User Agreement
Important notice: Welcome to AUTO-MAS cloud services. Before using this service, please carefully read and fully understand all terms of this agreement, especially bold terms involving exemption or limitation of project team liability, limitation of your rights, dispute resolution, and compensation caps. If you are under 18 years old, read this agreement with your legal guardian.
1. Acceptance and Changes
- Agreement formation: Welcome to AUTO-MAS cloud services (the "Service"). The Service covers all cloud products and features provided by the AUTO-MAS project team (the "Project Team"). This agreement is a legal document between you and the Project Team regarding use of the above services. Once you check agree, log in, or use the Service, you are deemed to have fully understood and accepted all content of this agreement.
- Agreement revision: The Project Team may revise this agreement according to laws, regulations, updates, or operational needs. The updated agreement takes effect 7 days after publication. For major rights changes, we will provide prominent notice through popups, in-site messages, email, or similar methods. If you do not agree with the revision, stop using the Service immediately. Continued use means you accept the revised agreement.
2. Account and Identity Authentication
- Account security responsibility: The Service logs in through the AUTO-MAS unified identity authentication system. You should properly keep account information and credentials. Losses caused by poor safekeeping, voluntary disclosure, or fraud are borne by you. If a security issue is caused by the Project Team intentionally concealing, failing to promptly fix a known high-risk vulnerability, or gross negligence, the Project Team will bear corresponding liability according to law.
- Abnormal handling: You must ensure identity information is true and accurate. If you discover account theft or abnormal behavior, notify the Project Team immediately. We will promptly take necessary measures such as freezing to prevent further losses.
3. Usage Rules
- Lawful and compliant use: You should use the Service within the scope permitted by laws, regulations, and your organization's rules. You must not use the Service for activities that endanger national security, disrupt social stability, infringe others' legitimate rights, or violate public order and good morals.
- Content compliance: Uploading, publishing, transmitting, or storing malicious code, viruses, Trojans, illegal or harmful information, or content that infringes third-party intellectual property or trade secrets is strictly prohibited. When using content shared or modified by others, respect the original author's rights and do not remove attribution, tamper with core content, or use it for purposes prohibited by this agreement. If the above obligations are violated, the Project Team may take measures under Article 3.5, and the infringing party independently bears legal liability.
- Technical attacks prohibited: Interfering with or disrupting normal Service operation through any technical means is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to DDoS attacks, unauthorized vulnerability scanning or penetration testing, malicious data crawling, illegal server intrusion, or bypassing security mechanisms.
- Reasonable resource use: Use computing, storage, and network resources reasonably. Using the Service to send spam, build illegal proxies, or maliciously consume or abuse cloud resources is strictly prohibited.
- Violation handling and appeals: If the above rules are violated, the Project Team may immediately restrict features, suspend or terminate services, ban accounts, and take other measures without prior notice, and reserves the right to report to regulators and pursue legal liability. If you object to a handling decision, you may submit an appeal through designated channels, including but not limited to email, the corresponding module's code repository Issues page, or communities operated by the Project Team.
4. Content, Data, and Ownership
User data ownership: For content and data you legally create or upload in the Service, and intellectual results such as derivative data and analysis reports generated from such data that do not include the platform's general algorithm models or underlying technologies, intellectual property and legitimate rights belong to you.
Software ownership and open source statement:
- Open source modules: follow the open source license of the corresponding code repository. If a specific open source module license conflicts with this agreement, the open source license prevails for that module.
- Specific assets: ownership follows separate declarations when explicitly stated.
- Owned content: except for the above, all other code, architecture, algorithms, documentation, and content not separately declared in the Service are exclusively owned by the Project Team. Without permission, they must not be used outside the service scope or for any other purpose.
Content sharing and collaboration authorization: To support data sharing, collaborative editing, and result display features of the Service, when you actively set content to "public", "shared", or "published", you simultaneously grant the Project Team and other Service users a non-exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide, free license, including:
- Content use and display: store, copy, display, and distribute your original content to specified or all users in the Service and related channels.
- Necessary modification and adaptation: make necessary technical modification, editing, or derivative processing of your content for multi-device compatibility, format conversion, collaborative editing, data desensitization, or community rule review.
- Republishing and sharing modified content: You agree that content modified or edited as described above may be republished, shared, or integrated by the Project Team or other Service users into public knowledge bases, example libraries, collaboration spaces, or other sharing modules of the Service for access, use, or further collaboration by other users.
Special notes:
- This authorization is valid only within the Service ecosystem and does not change your intellectual property ownership of the original content.
- Other users' republishing must comply with this agreement and platform rules, must not exceed the Service scope, and must not be used for commercial monetization. If other users abuse authorization and damage your rights, the Project Team will cooperate with rights protection according to law but does not bear joint compensation liability.
- If you do not actively trigger sharing or publishing, the Project Team and other users will not disclose or modify your private data without authorization.
- After you cancel sharing or close your account, licenses you have granted to the Project Team and other Service users are not revoked. Derivative content legally generated and published by other users based on this authorization may continue to be accessed, used, modified, and republished in the Service for collaboration purposes, unaffected by your withdrawal. However, the Project Team will anonymize personally identifiable information within a reasonable period upon your request or proactively to protect your personal information rights.
Compliance guarantee: You must ensure submitted content and data have legal authorization. If submitted content causes infringement disputes or third-party losses, you independently bear legal liability.
Review and handling: The Project Team reviews data changes according to law and provides version traceability. When a valid rights-holder notice, regulatory instruction, or manual review confirms obvious illegal or infringing content, we will take necessary measures such as deletion or blocking.
5. Data Security and Privacy Protection
- Security protection: The Project Team strictly follows laws such as the Cybersecurity Law, Data Security Law, and Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, and adopts reasonable technical and management measures to protect your data security.
- Information processing: Personal information is collected and processed only within the minimum scope necessary to provide the Service. Specific rules are described in the AUTO-MAS Privacy Policy. Without separate consent or mandatory legal requirement, your information is not disclosed to unrelated third parties.
6. Liability for Breach and Liability Limitations
- Breach handling: If either party breaches the agreement, the non-breaching party may require correction within a time limit. If correction is not made, the non-breaching party may terminate the agreement unilaterally and request compensation.
- Force majeure exemption: The Project Team does not bear breach liability for service interruption caused by force majeure, basic telecommunications failures, government actions, or other reasons beyond its control, but will make reasonable efforts for emergency recovery.
- Compensation cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Project Team is liable only for direct property losses you suffer, and expressly excludes any indirect, incidental, accidental, or consequential losses, including but not limited to expected profit loss, business interruption, data loss, or goodwill damage. Except where mandatory statutory compensation applies, in all cases the total amount of liquidated damages and compensation borne by the Project Team will not exceed the total fees you actually paid for the Service in the past 12 months.
7. Agreement Termination and Data Handling
- Termination conditions: If you breach the agreement or violate law, the Project Team may suspend or terminate the Service. You may also close your account at any time to terminate the agreement.
- Aftermath and data export: Before agreement termination, you have the right to log in and export personal data within a 7-day grace period. After termination, the Project Team stops processing personal information and retains audit records and security logs according to law. Data beyond the statutory retention period will be deleted or anonymized.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- Governing law: Formation, validity, interpretation, performance, and dispute resolution of this agreement are governed by the laws of Mainland China of the People's Republic of China.
- Jurisdiction: For disputes arising from this agreement, both parties should first negotiate amicably. If negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with the people's court having jurisdiction where the Project Team is located.
