AUTO-MAS Open Source Project Disclosure
To support the sustainable and healthy development of AUTO-MAS and its related community, the following information is disclosed.
Cloud Service User Agreement
To improve user experience, we deploy several cloud services, including announcement distribution, package mirrors, and general configuration sharing. To regulate the operation of the project's cloud service platform, ensure stable operation of cloud services, protect the legitimate rights of all users, and clarify the rights and obligations between the platform and users, the project team has prepared the Cloud Service User Agreement.
Income and Expenses
As everyone knows, open source projects cannot rely indefinitely on developers working purely out of enthusiasm. To support sustainable development and encourage developer participation, we accept user donations and obtain income through multiple channels. Thank you for your continued understanding and tolerance. However, opaque project fund operations may confuse some users, so we now publish the project's fund usage principles and income/expense table.
- Promotion income and project income are independent: direct income earned by project promoters during promotion, including but not limited to advertising deals, shop product revenue shares, creator incentives, and charging income, belongs to the promoter personally, except for promotional activities directly funded by the project team.
- Developer income and project income are independent: direct income earned by project developers during development, including but not limited to user-directed donations, belongs to the developer.
- Recorded after settlement: all project fund changes are recorded and disclosed after settlement is confirmed. Because developers may be busy, some entries may be registered late or combined.
- Use physical rewards for developers: to avoid unnecessary disputes about reward amounts, this project does not use cash dividends as incentives. Instead, it purchases physical gifts uniformly to reward project developers. The purchase and distribution plan is decided by the project author.
- All project income is used for the project: all project income must be used for project-related affairs. Items not recorded in the project income/expense table are considered invalid.
Privacy Policy
To provide better service, AUTO-MAS automatically collects the following information:
- Software version
- Runtime error information
AUTO-MAS respects and protects user privacy. All reported information is anonymized and does not contain any personally identifiable information. Collected data is stored on official AUTO-MAS servers and is not transmitted to any third-party organization or facility.
Pillar of Shame
AUTO-MAS is not powerless against infringement. Due to the high cost of accountability, open source projects cannot solve every problem through legal means, but we will not forget infringements that violate open source licenses. Therefore, this Pillar of Shame list is established. Rules:
- Record actions, not identities: only infringement actions are recorded. Actual identity information of infringers must not be exposed. Records are removed once the infringement ends.
