Development Guide ​

Welcome to AUTO-MAS development. Before contributing, you must understand the following.

Development and Collaboration Rules ​

  • Development Standards: branches, commit messages, version records, backend comments, and function-call style.
  • Repository Division and Agent Rules: responsibilities of the main repository, documentation site, and skills repository, plus rules for AI assistants writing Issue and PR bodies.

AUTO-MAS Developer Community Authorization Agreement ​

By submitting code in any way to any repository under AUTO-MAS-Project, you confirm that you understand and agree to the following terms:

  • You authorize the AUTO-MAS Team, the development team of AUTO-MAS-Project, to use part of the rights in the code you submit:

    1. Copyright License
      You grant AUTO-MAS Team a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive copyright license to use, copy, modify, distribute, publicly perform, and display your contributions, and to create derivative works based on your contributions.

    2. Patent License
      You also grant AUTO-MAS Team a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free patent license covering patent rights necessary for your contributions.

    3. Reserved Rights
      You retain the copyright and attribution rights of your original contributions. Your name will remain as the author in Git commit history and project acknowledgements.

  • All rights of AUTO-MAS Team are authorized to DLmaster (@DLmaster361). Only this authorized person can exercise all rights on behalf of AUTO-MAS Team. Supplementary rules:

    1. If DLmaster (@DLmaster361) cannot be contacted, AUTO-MAS Team affairs are handled by AUTO-MAS core developers according to community consensus.

    2. If DLmaster (@DLmaster361) leaves the project, they must transfer all AUTO-MAS Team authorization to another project developer.

    3. If an absolute majority of AUTO-MAS core developers approve, authorization to DLmaster (@DLmaster361) may be revoked and reassigned by AUTO-MAS core developers to another project developer.

These terms ensure that AUTO-MAS-Project has a clear responsible entity, can take legal action against infringers, and can prevent AUTO-MAS Team rights from being abused.
